About Me

Victoria Meyers

Hi, my name is Victoria Meyers.

For the last few years I have dedicated myself to furthering the music career of my very talented daughter, Maxine Meyers and recently I have begun exploring my own poetry and artistic side. Thank you for checking out my profile and interests!

My poetry is a reflection of my life experiences as an abuse survivor and special needs parent, a raw mix of dark and hopeful free verse. I have been pouring out 13 years of craziness into my writing since February 2015 and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon. I am putting together a chap book that I hope to have ready by early 2016.

I am a former Vice President of the Arkansas Chapter of the National Autism Association and current Co-Founder of Arkansans For Informed Consent. I am a disabled, single-mother of five children with at least one child on the Autism Spectrum; and a homeschool advocate. My interests include live music and promotion in Arkansas, poetry, vaccine injury advocacy, GMO eradication, eclectic homeschooling styles, living with Autism, healthy lifestyles, the GFCF and Paleo diets and all kinds of other things too! I am also a Bible teacher.

I live with my two youngest children in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. On any given day, you will find me updating my status on Facebook, or Blogging at Bear-FootinthePark or promoting a musical or community event like Summerfest Uptown on Park, or Adair Faire.
